RF Design

• Design Frequencies: From DC to 12 GHz

• System Level Design:

  • System architectures, modeling, simulation                  

  • Link budgets, intermodulation and noise figure analysis

• Circuit Level Design:

  • receivers- including superheterodyne, direct conversion, super-regenerative

• Computer-Aided Engineering: We are trained on the following CAE software: Serenade (Ansoft), and ADS (Agilent), and several other CAE programs, including Spice. We can also work using your preferred platform if desired.

• Prototype Design and refinement of prototypes for high volume production

• RF and Microwave Engineering Consultant services

Digital Design

• Microprocessor, digital signal processor, and power supply design support for your product

• Microchip Technology PIC processors (others on request)

PCB Prototype Layout

• All types of PCB technologies supported: single or multilayer boards, thru-hole and microvia technologies

• Stripline and microstrip design and layout

PCB Manufacturing

• Small volume PCB assembly and test

Circuit-Level Test and Measurement

• Automated test programming using IEEE488 compatible equipment

• Small volume production test platform development using National Instrument's LabVIEW programming environment or customer's preferred platform

Environmental Test

• Verification of circuit performance over temperature and humidity to customer specifications

Electromagnetic Compliance (EMC) Test

• Certification of FCC compliance at Underwriters Laboratories in RTP, NC

• All aspects of electromagnetic compliance: ESD, transients, bulk current injection, radiated emissions, radiated susceptibility, conducted emissions

• Experienced in resolving latent EMC issues

• EMC design reviews to help insure compliance during actual certification testing

• EMC Engineering
